Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef 80/20 fat ratio preferred
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese cut into fun shapes if desired
  • 8 gummy eyes gummy candies for monster eyes
  • 4 burger buns sesame or plain
  • 2 tablespoons oil for grilling
  • to taste salt and pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates or pan to prevent sticking.
  2. Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and gently shape each into a round patty, about ¾ inch thick.
  3. Season both sides of each patty with salt and pepper, then place them onto the hot grill or skillet.
  4. Cook the patties for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side until they develop a nice brown crust and are cooked through to your desired doneness.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, lay a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt gently.
  6. Once cooked, transfer the patties to a plate and let them rest briefly to lock in juices.
  7. Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster if desired for extra flavor and texture.
  8. Assemble the burgers by placing each beef patty on a bun half, then add gummy eyes on top to resemble monster eyes, followed by the top bun.
