Ingredients

  • 1 bottle lemon-lime soda Chilled for best results
  • 2 cups ice cubes Adjust quantity for desired consistency

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring Cups & Spoons

Method

  1. Pour the chilled lemon-lime soda into the blender.
  2. Add the ice cubes to the blender with the soda.
  3. Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high until the mixture is smooth and frosty, about 30-45 seconds. You'll see the ice break down and the liquid turn thick and slushy.
  4. Pause the blender to check the texture; if it's too watery, add a few more ice cubes and blend again for a thicker consistency.
  5. Once the mixture is creamy and icy with a vibrant color, pour the slushie into glasses.
  6. Optionally, garnish with a slice of lemon or lime for visual appeal.

Notes

For a less sweet version, use half soda and half sparkling water. Serve immediately for the best icy texture.
