- Pour the chilled lemon-lime soda into the blender.
- Add the ice cubes to the blender with the soda.
- Secure the lid on the blender and blend on high until the mixture is smooth and frosty, about 30-45 seconds. You'll see the ice break down and the liquid turn thick and slushy.
- Pause the blender to check the texture; if it's too watery, add a few more ice cubes and blend again for a thicker consistency.
- Once the mixture is creamy and icy with a vibrant color, pour the slushie into glasses.
- Optionally, garnish with a slice of lemon or lime for visual appeal.
Notes
For a less sweet version, use half soda and half sparkling water. Serve immediately for the best icy texture.
